For the El Azhar Road Tunnel, our scope included façade cladding, fire protection, and waterproofing. The biggest challenge was implementing effective fire and waterproofing systems in a confined, high-risk underground environment with continuous exposure to vibration and moisture. To meet this challenge, we used tunnel-grade waterproofing membranes and intumescent fire protection materials designed for long-term performance under stress. Our façade cladding was tailored to resist corrosion and support safe maintenance access. The result was a resilient, secure structure built to withstand both environmental and operational demands.
